''I wanted to write a testimonial of my experience with Remax Crown and in particular Peter Sullivan and Dean Elder. Tracie O’Neill and myself has just spent a week with you all viewing properties so it would be fitting for me to now write of our experience. As you probably know, I first met Peter Sullivan and Dean Elder by chance when I was staying at my sister’s apartment in Tas Sallum, Mellieha and they had the key to that apartment at the time. At that time, our exchange was brief but we still kept in touch albeit not that often. Before we were ready to look at apartments, I had some hurdles to jump in obtaining a Maltese passport and ID card. There were also applications that needed to be made to various banks to apply for finance because although we had a 50% deposit, we still needed finance to make up the rest of the purchase price. It was during this time when I was quite literally taken aback at how helpful Peter Sullivan was. He not only gave me some very good contacts but also took it upon himself to arrange and make the appointments on my behalf to coincide with my trip to Malta. I have purchased properties many times before and I don’t believe that I have ever received this level of service before so I was quite astonished and pleasantly surprised. Peter Sullivan has a lot of very good contacts and the daunting process of trying to figure out who to contact and what was needed was made quite simply very easy. During the period prior to my visit to Malta, Peter kept in touch with me all the time and explained to me the process with property purchase in Malta. He is incredibly helpful and certainly understands your needs. The week we spent with Peter and Dean looking at properties was extremely pleasant. They are both very easy going and didn’t put pressure on us at any time. We also wanted to see properties that were not being marketed by Remax and this did not pose a problem for Peter and Dean. They gave up all their time and most days did not end until gone past 7pm. Dean was fantastic with finding suitable properties to look at and he knew nearly every street in Sliema. There were times when I had to pick up my passport and ID card and I am very grateful for Peter taking the time to drive me to the passport office. This was totally beyond the call of duty and was very much appreciated. Peter Sullivan and Dean Elder are without doubt extremely professional and knowledgeable individuals. Anything that was asked of them was no problem at all and if they did not know the answer, they would make it their mission to find out. It was obvious that the aim of Remax Crown is to ensure that ‘everyone’ is happy and this was certainly the outcome when we found a property to our liking. I was surprised with Remax’s huge database of properties and the week we spent with Peter and Dean was fun filled, full of humour with minimal pressure. Your office in Sliema was always a pleasure to visit and it was liking to visiting family! It is a very friendly office with smiling faces all around and it’s quite clear to me that the working environment there is very happy which is so important when running an office. I have absolutely no hesitation whatsoever in recommending your office to anyone (whether Maltese or foreign purchaser) purchasing property in Malta. You certainly stood out from the rest and are quite professional, knowledgeable, truly honest, trustworthy, helpful in every way and are generally very happy people! We were recommended to use Peter and Paul Sullivan at ReMax by one of their long-term satisfied customers. We were new to Malta and were looking for an outstanding 2-bed apartment which had to have waterfront views and a garage all within a specific rental budget. Not knowing Malta well enough to know exactly where we wanted to settle, Peter Sullivan spent 2/3 days showing us around the island, including Gozo and arranged a number of viewings to better understand exactly what we did, and did not like. Paul was invaluable when it came to completing the lease formalities with the landlord and Notary, and has subsequently helped with all the small things that someone new to the island needs to know. The Sullivans have a well deserved reputation for supporting their clients as they settle in and are genuinely nice people to deal with who value their client relationships.
